Trauma – Understanding Through a Trauma-Responsive Lens

  • Apply a trauma-responsive lens to understand developmental, relational, and systemic harm.
  • Recognize the neurobiological impact of trauma and how it shapes emotional regulation and behavior.
  • Explore foundational principles of trauma-responsive care: safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
